Desolation
Desolation is an experimental short film I made with the intent of creating a sense of numbness that i've personally experienced during quarantine. I also wanted to touch on the idea of everything becoming more digitalized as our lives shifted from being in person to online with work and school, making going outdoors feel empty and unaccessible. I also wanted to create a sense of numbing cabin fever/routine that you get out of sitting in the same room going through the same motions in a daily routine. Through out this piece I wanted to showcase my premiere, after effects and audition skills by editing the piece myself, working with green screen effects/ creating different layers and creating my own experimental soundscape. I also shot the whole piece myself.

Visual Sound
This is a short film that explores the ideas of the visual and audible stories behind photos and collages by layering videos on top of photos and building up sounds to create a sense of anxiety or ASMR.

Boris Yeltsin Rides A Carousel
This short film was a class project, the prompt was shoot it all in one take using a primary shot. We decided to go into a stairwell and angle the camera to show three different levels and have people go up and down at different times starting slow and getting more complicated as it went on. It was half choreographed half called out by me throughout filming.
